Evie Cameron

Hi my name is Evie!

I’m from a small town full of academics, engineers and other STEM related professions. Wanting to be an actress was a “waste” or “silly”. But it’s what truly filled me up as a person.  I remember my mother sat me down and said to me “There’s no point in trying to be something you’re not, so just be an actor. It’s what you are.” Which led me to today, a graduating Theatre Performer at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richond Virginia.  I’m studying under some truly talented people such as David Toney and Elizabeth Byland, who inspire me to keep acting everyday. I recently finished a short film called Nymphs on Granite Rock as well as closed A Chorus Line after working with Matthew Couvillon. Currently I’m working on a web sketch show called the Unofficial Late Night as a guest writer and star. I ‘m looking forward to releasing a student feature length film currently titled Scream Queens, and I look forward to more opportunities once I graduate college and move to a new city.
